Our goal is to educate the public, starting with the school children to know and understand rabbits [animals in general], and to instill respect and appreciation for animals.
We would like to see the laws enacted that would prevent the cruelty to rabbits, i.e. used for “prizes” in carnivals /flea markets, and the terrible practice of allowing vendors on every street corner to of “Easter Bunnies”.
We want to reach children and their parents to provide education that promotes responsible adoption of rabbits & all pets.
We want rabbits to valued, loved, and cherished by their owners who will take them in for medical care when needed.
We’re aiming for awareness and change in the present laws, so that domestic rabbits are no longer dropped off on country roads, alone to fend for themselves with no skills whatsoever, only to meet certain agonizing death.
